Addictions / Substance use disorders

For administration of *marked tests, identifying you as a psychologist is required.

Addictions and substance use disorders are complex conditions characterized by an individual’s inability to control their use of alcohol, drugs, or other substances despite harmful consequences. These disorders often involve a combination of physical and psychological dependence, leading to compulsive substance use and significant impairment in daily life. Assessments for these disorders typically include clinical interviews, questionnaires, and behavioral observations to evaluate the extent of substance use and its impact on an individual’s health, relationships, and functioning. Proper diagnosis and treatment are essential for recovery and improving overall well-being.
